Jared Hoppe played the round of the night (74 gross, 71 net, the only deuce) and his team won it by three. That win put Dave Thomes, tied with Ryan Neitzke going in, on top of the Team Points board. Thomes also takes Net (68.88), Justin Heitkamp takes Gross (73.00), and — with no ace all year — the pot closes at its biggest ever and rolls into 2027.
Back after a three-week layoff — Round 16 rained out, then a scheduled bye. 1 Net 1 Gross on the Dutch Red/White, 19 players, five teams — and Dave Thomes putted like a man who had somewhere to be. Over 200 feet of putts holed, a net 68 out of an 83, and the season's two biggest prizes both moved. Ryan Neitzke's 72 was low gross, six deuces hit the card, nobody found the ace, and the pot swells to $3,481. Tate led going in and got passed by two men.
Team Stableford on the Dutch Red/White (par 71), 24 players, six teams — and the par 3s got absolutely carpet-bombed. Eleven deuces on the night, four of them on the 9th alone, and not a single one fell for the ace, so the pot rolls to $3,386. Aaron Jenkins (74, four birdies, two deuces) anchored the winning 143. Dave Thomes posted his SECOND straight net 67 and vaulted to second in the season. Tate survived an 86 to keep the lead. And your author's cart spent the night in the weeds — thank you, rescue crew.
